With the ITS Industrial Digital Transformation Specialist course you will become a professional IT technician specialized in enabling technologies to support the digital transition 4.0. You will learn the theoretical and practical notions to design and implement IT solutions that integrate with physical technologies for the creation of cyber-physical environments.

The course trains Higher Technicians Industrial Digital Transformation Specialist, a strategic and increasingly requested figure in the digitalital transition of industrial sectors

The expert in Digital Solution 4.0 Specialist is a specialized professional whose skills are applicable to complex industrial sectors, in which digital solutions need to be highly customized.

Some examples are: the Italian Industrial sector, which expects digital demand to grow by 6.3% in 2022, to 8,895 million; the Public Administration, which, following the investments envisaged in the EU Next Generation funds, will see a growth of 8.2% in 2022; the Banking system, which will see a growth of 5.6% in 2022 for a market of 8,952 million, with a focus on Cyber-security and Data Strategy; Utility up 6.5% in 2022 thanks to the objectives of the European Green Deal to which innovative solutions in the production and infrastructural fields such as smart grids, enabled by Advanced Analytics solutions, Artificial Intelligence algorithms and Machine / Deep Learning contribute.

The Digital Solution 4.0 Specialist course trains autonomous and complete professionals, with broad and structured technical and functional skills in the Internet of Things, Networking, programming languages, Cloud, Cyber ​​Security, Database, Data Management.

It is a complete professional figure, ready to support companies in the challenge towards the Digital Transition.

At the end of the course of study, the students will achieve the qualification of Digital Solution 4.0 Specialist. Access requirements

In order to access this course, the following requirements must be met:

Possession of one of the following qualifications:

  • Secondary school diploma (preferential areas: Graphic and Communication high school).
  • Professional diploma obtained as a result of the four-year IeFP courses and IFTS Certification.
  • English language (preferably B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for CEFR languages) and basic knowledge of technical English for the sector.
  • Basics of logic and mathematics
  • Basis of Graphic and Digital processes and technologies
  • Residence or domicile in Lombardy

Duration of the course

The training course has a duration of 2 years. It is organized into 1,000 hours of training each year, for a total of 2,000 hours divided as follows:

  • 1,200 hours of classroom and laboratory training
  • 800 hours of training / internship

Cost of the course

To participate in the course, a contribution of € 1,000 / year is required for supplementary teaching services (technological equipment, cloud platforms…).

There are exemptions based on income or merit.
