The ITS Digital Marketing Data Specialist course trains professionals able to analyze digital data and create dynamic reports, working with the main data management tools (Google, CRM and more). Students will acquire specific skills on the functioning of communication channels and on the platforms for the collection and statistical analysis of information.

The ITS Digital Marketing Data Specialist course trains young people to the new digital data market, essential for optimizing marketing strategies
The training course is aimed at those who aspire to specialize in Data Analysis. In particular, we will focus on the study of information deriving from Marketing strategies, in order to optimize their performance and plan improvement activities.
At the end of the studies, the professional will be able to collaborate in the creation of a Marketing plan through the representation of data, which will support the choices oriented towards innovation of business strategies.
It will therefore be an in-depth course, which will lead to the development of advanced statistical skills. The student will achieve certifications on the main tools for data collection, processing and analysis – eg. Google, Facebook and other social media, CRM, and will develop technical and functional knowledge in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. The student will also learn methodologies of Problem Solving, Project Management, Agile, and Product and Service Analysis and Development.
These notions will allow the new Digital Marketing Data Specialists to establish themselves in a very specific role, collaborating with different company departments (e.g. sales and customer care).
Job opportunities
Once the course of study is completed, the student will be able to enter a rapidly growing market. The data analysis sector is expanding: it is estimated that in 2024 it will reach a value of 2 billion euros, with an average annual growth in the period 2022-2024 of 12% (compared to 5% for the other sectors).
The Digital Marketing Data Specialist will therefore be able to manage and develop business intelligence and data science activities in various contexts, including:
- Communication and digital marketing agencies
- Companies in the banking, retail, IT services, media and advertising sectors
- Agencies and companies specializing in strategic consulting and market research
Access requirements
In order to access this course, the following requirements must be met:
Possession of one of the following qualifications:
- Secondary school diploma (preferential areas: Graphic and Communication or Art high school).
- Professional diploma obtained as a result of the four-year IeFP courses and IFTS Certification.
- English language (preferably B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for CEFR languages) and basic knowledge of technical English for the sector.
- Basics of logic and mathematics
- Basis of Graphic and Digital processes and technologies
- Residence or domicile in Lombardy

Duration of the course
The training course has a duration of 2 years. It is organized into 1,000 hours of training each year, for a total of 2,000 hours divided as follows:
- 1,200 hours of classroom and laboratory training
- 800 hours of training / internship
Cost of the course
To participate in the course, a contribution of € 1,000 / year is required for supplementary teaching services (technological equipment, cloud platforms…).
There are exemptions based on income or merit.
