Course Description

The IFTS course “Product and process industrialization techniques – Industrial Packaging” represents the ideal and professional gateway to enter the Packaging sector and deal with the creation of packages and packaging for products intended for consumers.

The course

The course trains technicians specialized in the packaging industry, capable of managing the entire production process of pre-press, printing and post-printing of the product.

During your studies, you will acquire all the skills required by the Packaging sector, that is, the set of activities implemented for the creation of packages that are recognizable on the market in the eyes of consumers.

 

Starting from the analysis of production technologies, we will go on to deepen the techniques of Packaging Design and Prototyping, and then continue with the development of skills necessary for the management and maintenance of Industrial Packaging machinery.

 

Some training modules on materials and control operations and environmental certifications will also be addressed, focusing on sustainability and Industry 4.0.


The path will end with a Project Work, the result of a collaboration with companies. The career guidance and training internships preliminary to the work experience in the company will in fact allow students to be helped in identifying the most suitable work experience for their attitude.

Job opportunities

At the end of the course of study the students will obtain the qualification of Technician specialized in Packaging. They will therefore be able to manage the equipment of the industrial packaging sector, to identify and resolve anomalies and unexpected events in the production process and to recognize the quality standards required by the production system. Consequently, it will be able to fit into contexts that require knowledge of the main file preparation tools, materials and production methods used for the production of industrial packaging and packaging.

  • Companies in the paper/cardboard sector (paper converting and packaging) specialized in the preparation of files and matrices for printing
  • Packaging manufacturing companies
  • Packaging converters
  • Labeling companies
