During the two years of study required by the ITS Coding & AI Specialist course, you will learn the skills necessary to design, develop, and optimize software solutions integrated with the latest artificial intelligence features. Specifically, you will learn how to create applications that support and improve business processes, working on virtual assistants, predictive analytics, and advanced automation systems.

 

The goal of the ITS Coding & AI Specialist course is to provide you with the knowledge you need to adapt artificial intelligence algorithms and govern machine learning models through the management of large amounts of data. You will also learn about methodologies for testing and optimizing code, ensuring a high degree of efficiency, security, and scalability for the applications you develop.

Through a practical and innovation-oriented approach, you will have the opportunity to apply the knowledge you have acquired to real-world cases through concrete projects and collaborations with leading companies in the sector. This will be possible thanks to our partnership with the Zucchetti Group, a leading company in the IT sector. During the first year, you will be able to do an internship directly at the company, while from the second year onwards, you will have the additional opportunity to access a higher education apprenticeship.

At the end of the ITS Software Developer & AI Specialist course, you will be qualified to work as a Software Developer, AI Specialist, Full Stack Developer, and Machine Learning Specialist. The skills you acquire will enable you to work independently or within multidisciplinary teams, contributing to the creation of advanced software solutions in the field of AI.

At the end of the first year of study, students are also eligible for direct employment with advanced training and research apprenticeships in accordance with the terms established by Art. 45 of Legislative Decree 81/2015. This makes the ITS Coding & AI Specialist course at the ITS Academy Angelo Rizzoli one of the few in Italy capable of achieving a 100% employment rate in the first year after graduation.

Admission requirements

In order to enroll in the ITS Coding & AI Specialist course, you must meet the following requirements*:

  • Possession of the following qualifications:
    • High school diploma or equivalent (Legally recognized by the Italian Consulate/ambassy) or qualification obtained at the end of a school curriculum of at least 12 years
    • For non EU citizens you can find information about student VISA applications here.
  • Territorial requirement
    • Residence or domicile in the Lombardy Region.
  • Required skills:
    • Basic programming knowledge
    • English language skills
    • Logic-mathematics
    • Basic computer science

* Some admission requirements may change depending on regional directives.

Course duration

The training course lasts two years, divided into four semesters. It consists of 1,000 hours of training per year, for a total of 2,000 hours divided as follows:

  • 1,120 hours of classroom and laboratory training
  • 880 hours of internship/work experience

Course cost

A contribution of €1,000/year is required for participation in the course for supplementary teaching services (development environment, cloud platforms, professional tools, etc.).

Exemptions are available based on income or merit.

A high school diploma is mandatory, but it does not need to be related to a course of study in computer science. A diploma of this type is preferred, but it is not essential for enrollment.
Anyone with a high school diploma of any kind can enroll in the course.
